We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and each session is tailored to the requirements of the children attending on that day. There is a strong focus on building confident, happy children with a thirst for knowledge, an enquiring mind and a love of learning.
All of the above contributes to The Unique Child. Research has shown children learn best through play and so by playing and exploring children can participate in their own active learning and the environment at St. Martins Preschool enables children to create and think critically. Play is the work of a child!! To learn well, children must approach opportunities with curiosity, energy and enthusiasm. Effective learning must be meaningful to a child, so that they are able to use what they have learned and apply it in new situations.
